Research Objectives
The excessive lazy use of Large Language Models breaks the native link between perception and language, effectively reducing the individual to a living chatbot. The weakening or absence of critical thinking is not the only problem. AI is not to blame – this phenomenon predates the advent of AI. For some, even simple deeds, like riding a bike or swimming, never become reality because they never transition from "knowing-about" to "knowing-how." We live in a world that is progressively becoming more of a ghost to us. Is there a specific point of no return?
LLMs are highly beneficial when used as an extension of native skills post-reinforcement and augmentation. We aim for a balanced, tailored engagement that will eventually restructure our intelligence without losing its essence – the living subject – we've got a magic mirror – let's engineer a proper use for it.
